Tazo Teas 8.8-oz. Loose leaf Ti Kwan Yin Loose Leaf Green Tea, Loose Leaf

Item Size: One 8.8-oz bag. Directions: Use one heaping teaspoon loose leaves per 8 ounces of water. Brews approximately 50 cups of tea. An oolong tea with light, floral, and creamy liquor which is presented as tightly-rolled leaves and bud. Description: Single-origin tea from China. One of the world’s most renowned and celebrated oolong teas; this semi-fermented tea is tightly wound in a typical oolong fashion with a very dense, sage green color. Brewed, Ti Kwan Yin has a lovely floral aroma. The taste is fresh and full flavored, slightly astringent and finishes with a sweet aftertaste. The russet-brown color and delicate crimson edging of the leaf is due to the shaking and slight bruising that the tea undergoes during processing and is a signature appearance of a well made Ti Kwan Yin. This tea is named for Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy and is grown in South East China.
