Kabazaiku is the Japanese art of crafting items from cherry bark. This unique tea tin is made entirely from cherry bark, which is impermeable to air and very strong. The bark is peeled off in strips around the trunk of the tree and shaped and fitted to craft this tea container. It is extremely difficult to make an item entirely of cherry bark, like this tin (even the interior lid is made of cherry bark).
